Olive trees grow slow, and the wood shows it. Fuse a piece with resin and the grain looks like a river seen from a plane.
This Japanese-inspired kitchen knife runs 13 inches overall, with an 8-inch forged stainless steel blade and an olivewood and epoxy resin handle unlike any other. It slices, chops and dices with control. A hand-stitched leather sheath protects it in the drawer.
