Snake wood earns its name from the grain, a pattern like scales that seems to move when you tilt it to the window.
This 8-inch Western fixed blade has a hand-forged rasp tool steel blade and a figured snake wood handle with natural grain. It handles field dressing, campsite food prep and ranch chores. A handmade leather belt loop sheath keeps it close.
