Polished brass catches the firelight in a way steel never does. It's a small thing that makes a camp feel settled.
This Western knife runs 11 inches overall, with a 6-inch hand-forged Damascus blade, an epoxy resin handle that stays comfortable in the cold, and a solid brass guard. A leather sheath with belt loop carries it on autumn trips.
